Hello — I’m Martin. I live in the north of Cumbria with my wife and our two dogs, surrounded by trees, fields, and the quiet rhythm of the Lake District.

This isn’t a company — just something I quietly offer alongside my full-time job. It’s not commercial, and it’s not scaled up. It’s simply a way of helping, when I can, with something that feels meaningful and worth doing properly.

I plan and carry out every scattering myself. By kayak. By hand. Slowly and with care. I don’t rush, I don’t outsource, and I don’t treat it like a process.

If you’re looking for a way to scatter a loved one’s ashes on a lake or at sea, I can help with that  — in a peaceful place, with thought for the landscape, for others, and for the person being remembered.

I think that matters. A real place. A real person. A quiet act, carried out with respect and purpose.

I’ve spent most of my life working in public service — where attention to detail, calm judgement, and responsibility were second nature. That mindset comes with me when I paddle out.
